Born: 1842. Baptised 22nd December 1845 with brother Richard Hattersley at Leeds St George.

Place of Birth: Leeds, Yorkshire.

Died: 20th April 1901 and buried in Addington, Yorkshire.

Parents: Fenton and Sarah Schoon, nee Travis.

Marriages: Sarah Ann Cramm, 25th December 1864 in Keighley, Yorkshire. Possible second marriage to Jane Metcalf but no details found (see below).

Children:

Occupation: Clogger.

Notes: In 1851 Census, living with parents in Bull Hill, Haworth. In 1861 Census, again in Leeds. In the 1881 Census, living in Drill Street, Keighley, with his wife Sarah, together with his father Richard. Father Richard is listed as paralysed. In 1891 Census, Fenton (listed as widower) is living in Oakworth Road, Leeds, together with two nieces, Amelia and Harriet King. In the 1901 Census, he is living in Rose Mount, Keighley, with wife Jane (Metcalf) and sister in law Martha Moulson.

In the 1887 Whites Directory of Bradford, Fenton is listed as a Clogger, his brother, Albert Edward is listed as an Overlooker and Richard Schoon as a Tailor.
