Occupation: Worked as a Gas Stoker in Yorkshire, moved to Birmingham with his family, where he again worked in the gas industry.

Notes: In the 1911 Census Henry and Sarah were living at 42 New Street, Idle, Bradford. With them were their children Emma, William Henry, Ethel, Thomas and Alice. The census information states that Henry and Sarah had had seven children, of which one had died (Albert 1908) and 6 were living at home. However, son Charlie born 1903 was not listed. Searches have found no trace of Charlie in the census.

Their appears to have been some confusion at the baptism of Henry at Holly Trinity Church Bradford in 1879. The church records show Henry as being baptised as Abraham Henry, rather than just Henry. This has to be so, because the birth date given for the baptised child was 30th March 1878, which is Henry's birth date, not Abraham Henry who was born in 1875.
