The marriage details of Mary Ann Simmonds and George Frederick Worth, which took
place at Christ Church, Virginia Water, Surrey on 6th Feb 1916. There does
appear to be a discrepancy in the age of Mary Ann, in that she was born in
July 1888, but gives her age on the marriage certificate as 26. Should that
not be 27? You will see that her husband George Frederick, gives his
occupation as soldier. Also note that one of her witnesses was her brother-in-law, George James Yates.
