Died: 1952, Surrey.

Parents: George and Hannah (Annie) Harmsworth, nee Scott. George was born in Wootton St. Lawrence, Hampshire and Hannah in Puttenham, Surrey.

Marriages: Mary Jane Simmonds, 16th November 1912 at the Guildford Registry Office.

Children:

Occupation: Bricklayers labourer.

Notes: 1901 Census, Thomas living with his parents in Puttenham, Surrey. Thomas enlisted in the 3rd Battalion the Queens Regiment in 1916. Unfortunately, his army papers were damaged, but it appears he was wounded in 1919, but rejoined the regiment. Papers suggest he may have transferred to the Hampshire Regiment, but the Queens Regiment seem to dispute this. On enlistment, he lists Mary Jane as his next of kin, he was 29 years and 3 months old, had a height of 5 foot 6 inches and a chest measurement of 32 inches.
