Born: 1872, 4th December. Baptised 8th December in South Milford, Yorkshire. Baptised again 6th March 1889 at St Bartholomew's, Bowling, Bradford.

Place of Birth: Yorkshire.

Died: March 1915 in Keighley, Yorkshire.

Parents: Edward and Hannah Roberts, late Swaine nee Todd.

Marriages: William Briggs 13th July 1895 at St Mary's Church Keighley, Yorkshire.

Children: Clara 11th November 1895 and William Edward 14th April 1899.

Notes: In 1901 Census, Charlotte was living 46 Eastwood Square, Keighley with husband William and son William Edward. In the 1911 Census Charlotte was still in Eastwood Square but at number 15, again with husband and son. On the 1911 Census form, it shows she had two children both of which were still living. However, her daughter Clara was not listed.

It appears Charlotte was baptised twice, the first time on 8th of December 1872 in South Milford, Yorkshire. The baptism record shows her mother as Hannah Roberts and her father just as Roberts, no Christian name. The second baptism record shows she was baptised on 6th March 1889 at St Bartholomew's Church, Bradford and gives her parents names as Edward and Hannah Roberts. Charlotte's address was given as 21 Hare Street and her fathers occupation as a printer. 21 Hare Street was Henry and Hannah Simmonds family home. Edward Roberts was born in Denbighshire, Wales.

Charlotte's husband William, married again on 30th November 1918 to Mary Smith, at St Mary's Church, Keighley.
