In the 1911 Census Frederick, Charlie, Arthur and Hilda, were lodging at 1 Summers Road, Godalming, with a Mrs. Crutch (widow) and three of her children. Eliza was boarding with the Sidney Tom Wood (widower) family at 153 Walnut Tree Lane Close, Guildford, together with children Henry George, Edith Emily and Albert Edward. It would appear Eliza Simmonds, had two children with Sidney Tom Wood, Elsie May 1906 and Wilfred Allen who was born and died in 1908. Both children were baptised as Simmonds, but Elsie May appears in the 1911 Census as Wood. Both children were registered as Wood at birth. Sidney had two children with his wife Florence, who was shown as deceased on their baptism record.
