Notes: In 1891 Census, living with his parents and siblings in Hanley, Stoke on Trent. In the 1901 Census, living in Hanley with his uncle Thomas Pember and family. In the 1911 Census, living in Upper Faringdon, Alton, Hampshire, working as a domestic coachman.
On 1st August 1922, the family sailed from London for Freemantle in Western Australia. His wife Sarah died in Subiaco, Western Australia on 7th December 1958.
