Notes: .George was born a Crathorne, but a condition placed on the re-marriage of his wife Barbara, was that her new husband, should take the name Tasburgh. Similarly, any issue should also do the same. On the death of Mary Augusta in 1844, the Crathorne Estate was eventually sold out of the hands of the Crathorne family.

It appears that prior to the death of Mary Augusta, internal struggles took place within the Tasburgh/Crathorne family. These were centred around estate inheritance. One outcome of these struggles, was a split in the marriage of Mary Augusta and her husband Michael Anne.

George's wife Barbara, was born in Swynnerton, Staffordshire, to Thomas FitzHerbert and Maria Theresa Throckmorton. She died in Florence, Firenze, Italy in 1808.
