On the left, is a photograph of one of the panels on the inside of the
Menin Gate, Ieper (Ypres) Belgium, displaying the names of the men from the
Royal Warwickshire (Henry's unit) and other regiments, with no known resting
place, 54,000 names. The picture above, shows Henry's inscription, centre.
Above Henry's name are two men called Beesley. It is possible they are
related to Henry, via his son Henry's wife Agnes. Her paternal grandmother
was Hannah Beesley. The picture on the left was taken by Henry Simmonds
1937, in March 2012, whilst the one above was taken by Richard Simmonds
1966, in November
2011.
