Notes: James moved to Stockton, California, arriving in New York in July 1923. His wife Constance crossed the Canada-US border on 26 April 1925, (having arrived in Quebec from England) with her daughter Hazel and other members of James's family.
James's wife Constance (aged 5), her mother Ellen (aged 32) and brother Fred (under aged 1), are recorded as having arrived in Montreal, Canada, in August 1905. When they returned to England is not known. However, Constance did return, married and gave birth to daughter Hazel in England. Then returned to Canada in 1925.
