Place of Birth: Keighley, Yorkshire.

Died: 1891, 20th January in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire. Buried 24th January 1891, Oswaldtwistle.

Parents: Richard and Elizabeth Schoon, nee Hattersley

Marriages: William Breare, June 1857, Portsea Island, Hampshire.

Children: George Currer 1859, Margaret Ann 1860-1864, Elizabeth 1861, James Currer 1863, Frances Gertrude 1865, George Edgar 1857, Margret Ann 1869, Charlotte Alice 1871, William Edward 1872 and Jane Isobel 1874.

Occupation: In 1851 Census, straw bonnet maker. In 1881 Census, spice seller.

Notes:  In the 1841 Census, living in South Street, Keighley, with father and family. In the 1851 Census, again living with father and family in South Street, Keighley. In the 1861 Census, living in Owaldtwistle, Lancashire, with husband William and their family, William listed as Stone Mason. In the 1871 Census, again living in Oswaldtwistle with husband and family, together with Williams nephew Mitchell Breare, a Stone Mason. In the 1881 Census, Maria and family living in Oswaldtwistle, Maria listed as widow  and head of family (husband William died 1881). Her occupation is spice seller.

Maria's husband William Breare, was born 1836, in Renfrew, Scotland. He died Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, 8th March 1881. HIs occupation was stone mason.
