Her occupation is dressmaker. In the 1901 Census, she is living in Cranleigh with her sister Annie Carpenter. On the census form she is listed as Mary aged 25 and designated as a cripple. The 1911 Census lists her as living in Compton with brothers George and Albert and her daughter Minnie. Her age is given as 34 and is a dressmaker.
