Born: 1787, 19th November. Baptised 30 December 1787.

Place of Birth: Keighley, Yorkshire.

Died: 22nd April 1858, Keighley, Yorkshire. Buried 27 April in St Andrews Churchyard, Keighley.

Parents: Richard and Mary Schoon, nee Kighley

Marriages: Elizabeth Hattersley, 18th February 1813 at Keighley Parish Church.

Children: Fenton 1813, Mary 1816, Charlotte 1818, Everalda 1821, Ann 1823, Elizabeth 1825, Jane 1827, Richard Hattersley 1830, Maria Longdon 1833 and George 1836.

Occupation: Tailor.

Notes: In the 1841 Census Richard was living in South Street, Keighley, with wife Elizabeth and children Everalda, Ann, Richard, Maria Longdon and George.

In the 1851 Census, Richard now a widower, was living at 36 South Street, Keighley, with children Charlotte, Elizabeth, Richard, Maria and George. Son Richard was listed as a Journeyman Tailor, Charlotte and Elizabeth as a power loom worsted weavers, Maria as a Straw Bonnet Maker and George, what appears to be a Warp Slayer Worsted. Richard was living in Market Street, Keighley at the time of his death.
