This is the new base board for the 'O' Gauge layout. It is actually two
six foot by 3 foot boards bolted together. The surface is covered with cork
floor tiles so as to reduce noise levels when trains are operating. The
engine shed is at top right with the platform top left. The electrics to
control the points, lighting and turntable are now installed and the layout
operational. All the locomotives are equipped with a decoder and work under
the control of the Digital Command and Control Station.
